Happy Belated Birthday!

Our lovely first born turned 3 this year and since her actual birthday happened to fall on the day after Henry was born, we had the party late this year. I was a little tied up on her actual birthday so we had the party the following week.


At 3 years old, Mya can:

-name all her colors
-identify all basic shapes
-count to 13 before jumping to 17
-go all night and stay dry
-identify most letters of the alphabet
-dress herself

She loves to:
-paint
-do crafts
-play pretend
-give her baby brother lots of hugs and kisses
-show her independence by brushing her own hair and teeth and picking out her own clothes
-do anything related to princesses, she's mildly obsessed
-be read to, especially if it's a story from her Disney princess book
-have her toe nails painted

-She will be starting pre-school in the fall and is really excited about it
-She tells us she loves us all the time
-She is very affectionate
-She loves music and loves to dance
-She is really good at helping to clean up when playtime is over
-She has a really great imagination
-She still sucks her thumb
-She is really girly and wants to wear a dress at every chance but it can't be without her necklace and bracelet to complete the look
-She knows her full name, age and town she lives in

She is such a big girl now! Seriously, where has the time gone?! Good thing I just had another baby so I can really stop and take it all in this time since now I know how quickly time goes by.
